The Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 “Baroque Brown” is a limited edition collaboration between the hip-hop superstar and Nike that modifies the iconic retro running shoe with rugged, outdoors-inspired details. One of two colorways of the Air Max 1 co-designed by Travis Scott and Nike in December 2021, the “Baroque Brown” does away with the tonal look that defines the “Saturn Gold” edition of Scott’s Air Max 1, and instead favors multiple earth tones. The upper features a Lemon Drop-colored mesh construction with Baroque Brown leather overlays on the mudguard, toe and the heel. Scott’s signature inverted Swoosh is embroidered on the lateral side while the Swoosh on the medial side faces the correct, original direction. Pocket knife-inspired straps with geometric detailing appear on the collar and heel. The red rope laces found on the tongue feature speckle detailing. Dual “Nike” and “Cactus Jack” branding on the left and right shoe, respectively. “Cactus Corporation” branding appears on the outsole.

Wearing these to ymca. Fit is perfect. I bought 1/2 size larger than I normally wear and that worked out well with very roomy toe box that I wanted due to aging toenails.

These seem like good shoes. I've had them around two weeks. They were inexpensive and I didn't have super-high expectations for them, basically bought them to work in the garden and such. They're solidly made, though they are plastic - there's no leather or suede on these. They're very comfortable and ran true to size for me. Foot and arch support is good. I have no complaints. Time will tell whether the problems that others have encountered with the soles splitting happens to me. So far, these seem to be in good shape.

These are very nice shoes. They're comfortable and they look nice. I have some other Simple shoes that are similar and I love them too.

The sizing seems true-to-size to me. I normally wear a 10.5-11, and like all of my Simple shoes, I ordered an 11 with these. They fit very well, as expected.

I know one of the criticisms is that they easily fall apart, but that doesn't surprise me. A tag on the shoe claims the outer soles will biodegrade within 20 years, while the outer soles on some other shoes will last 1,000 year. Considering how Simple shoes are made with recycled materials, I never expect them to be very durable shoes.

However, I don't wear the same pair of shoes every day and I don't wear my Simple shoes for outdoor activities. I have several pairs of various Simple models and they're all still holding up well. These may be an athletic style of shoes, but I wouldn't wear them for athletic purposes, not just because they probably wouldn't hold up long, but also because they're probably not the best shoes for that purpose. I guess my point is that while I'm sure they do tear up quickly with frequent wear, I don't wear mine as an everyday shoe, or an athletic shoe, and they seem to be holding up fine.

Overall, I'm very pleased with all of my shoes of this brand. They're all very comfortable and have a nice, somewhat original look about them. My only complaint is that the price tag is often too high, but they're not difficult to find on sale.

This runs a little bigger than usual,but these are made well. These have a strong chemical smell. They do hold up well under all weather and conditions,they come with an extra pair of laces.
