The BAPE Skate Sta #1 “Red” is a colorway of the legendary Japanese streetwear brand’s skate-inspired shoe with red accents. Designed in the spirit of skateboarding shoe aesthetics, the BAPE Skate Sta #1 has a classic and casual look. On the “Red” colorway, the model features an interesting combination of materials, as white leather appears on the perforated toe, while red tumbled leather can be found on the overlays, and dark grey suede appears on the mid-panel and collar. A black BAPE “Star” logo can be found on both sides of the shoe, while “BAPE STA” detailing is embroidered on the heel tab and tongue tag. The off-white-colored rubber midsole features a “BAPE” logo on the lateral heel. Underfoot, a red rubber outsole completes the colorway.

I love them, they fit like a glove. But be careful in the image they show a little brown, they are true black as in description

They are not amazing quality as you might expect for this price. IF you buy the right size, they are great shoes. They get dirty very quickly but that's with any white shoe made of canvas type material. If you buy half a size too small as I did, the tightness may damage the shoes a bit faster. They are holding up so far after about 3 months, but are not that clean anymore. I have started seeing some sole damage. The sole grip isn't great either.

Still getting used to the updates, but fair warning, these are the squeakiest scrunchiest damn shoes. The tongues rub and the shoes fart with every step. I went after them with my olive oil sprayer and all is well now. I'm a few months in and I still have to reapply from time to time.

These are far more comfortable then typical canvas sneakers, but they offer a similar casual look. The sizing is very accurate, so order your normal size, regardless of whether you plan on wearing them with or without socks.

I've seen some reviews mention that they run narrow, but I don't agree. Compared to your typical canvas sneaker, they actually run wide and probably run wide compared to many other sneakers, as well. They have very ample toe room.

There were a gift. He absolutely loved them Said they are VERY comfortable. Works in a warehouse with lots of walking. They arrived on time. No problem. They were in a bag not a box, box would have been better.

I gotta say these will do very nicely in my quest to not look like every other middle-aged man, who only seem to want white tennis shoes. I'm sure the chicks will flock to my yard. These are really comfortable, fit true to size, and appear to be well made, so even if my yard remains empty I'm thinking they'll be well used.

I thought Skechers were made in the USA. Wrong. They're made in China. I can't complain about the product though. They fit perfectly to size.
